Steak prefers a vinegar-based sauce which aids digestion, mixing meat with carbs/sugars leads to indigestion. Try not to mix carbs/sugars with acids/amino-acids/fatty-acids, carbs/sugars require alkalines/bases to break them down. Mixing proteins and carbs is not healthy.
